LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 is an professional American basketball player. He is known as King James and is considered to be one of the most successful basketball players in history. James has won four NBA Championships, the four NBA MVP Awards and Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of two Olympic Gold medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He also has the second-most career points and is seventh in career assists. It is a NBA record that he has been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. As a total, James has played in the 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. The streak spans eight consecutive years between 2011 and 2018. James was selected for his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became the very first NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio. The national press praised James as an NBA player of the year. In 2003, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. He was voted one of the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. He soon became one of the top players in the NBA as he won the NBA MVP Award twice in the years 2009 and 2010. After failing to win an NBA championship, Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to join Miami Heat. Miami Heat this was announced during the TV special The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices in sports history.
