The film Excision received a lot of appreciation for McCord's performance in the role of the deluded, troubled teenager. Her performance in Excision McCord won Best Actress at the Malaga International Week of Fantastic Cinema in 2012. McCord's recent movie 68 Kill was awarded the Audience Award by SXSW. The film has also been highly praised for her ferocious, dramatic performance. McCord stars as the lead in the show POPTV's Let's Be Physical with Jane Seymour of Breaking Bad fame as well as Matt Jones.
