Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on April 28, 1967). Her career began when she was an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a automobile salesman. Her family has given her three brothers. When she was in her teens, she performed at nightclubs in the dark, escaping from home. She studied acting from her 13th birthday at Wooster School. Later, she studied acting at the NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts along with renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American actor, model and singer.
