Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney was born on the 19th of November, 1959. 2. She is an American actor. Over three decades, she is well-known for her performance across diverse genres on screen and stage. Janney has received many awards including the Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. She also won seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney was also nominated to at least two Tony Awards. The actress was raised in Boston and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Janney got a scholarship for studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after her graduation from Kenyon College. Janney became a television star in 1999, playing C. J. Cregg, a role she played on NBC's political drama The West Wing (2000-2006). She received the award for four Primetime Emmy Awards for this role. As a result of her role as Margaret Scully, a Showtime actress on the period drama Masters of Sex, Janney received this year's Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.
